Welcome to Valley Therapy

At Valley Therapy, the philosophy of Inspiring Introspection guides the work that matters most—truly knowing yourself. It reflects a belief that healing and growth begin with honest self-understanding: taking a deeper look at the patterns, challenges, and strengths that shape your life. The goal is to support you in meaningful reflection and in taking steps that move you toward the life, relationships, and identity you want. When you understand where you’ve been, who you are today, and who you want to become, you’re empowered to create real, lasting change.

Asking yourself What do I want? is often a complex and vulnerable process—but one worth exploring with compassion, curiosity, and support. You owe it to yourself to answer honestly and to move toward what feels aligned and authentic.

Dr. Victoria Schroder founded Valley Therapy in 2024 with a dedication to delivering personalized, expert care grounded in evidence-based psychotherapy. Therapy here is never one-size-fits-all; sessions are shaped by your experiences, strengths, and goals, ensuring that the work stays focused on what matters most to you. By combining research-backed methods with a deeply individualized approach, therapy becomes a catalyst for insight, resilience, and meaningful growth. Your experience will be informed by compassion, professionalism, and unwavering respect.

In addition to psychotherapy, Valley Therapy also offers comprehensive General Mental Health and Forensic Mental Health Evaluations for individuals, attorneys, agencies, and organizations. These evaluations are conducted with the same values that shape the therapeutic work—thoroughness, clarity, trauma-informed care, and a deep respect for each person’s story. Whether you are seeking support for immigration matters, legal or workplace concerns, access to services, or accommodations, evaluations are completed with professionalism and attention to detail, providing structured clinical documentation to support your needs.

Evaluations are conducted with care, accuracy, and a trauma-informed approach, offering clear documentation of symptoms, functioning, and treatment needs.

All evaluations are completed by Dr. Schroder and include a thorough clinical interview, records review (when applicable), and a written report tailored to the purpose of the referral.

Evaluation services fall into two categories:

Forensic Mental Health Evaluations

Forensic Mental Health Evaluations are structured clinical assessments completed for use in legal, immigration, or administrative proceedings. These evaluations apply mental-health expertise to questions that arise within courts, attorney referrals, and government or workplace systems. They integrate clinical interviews, history, records review, and trauma-informed assessment to provide clear documentation of symptoms, functioning, and psychosocial factors relevant to the referral question.

General Mental Health Evaluations

General Mental Health Evaluations are comprehensive clinical assessments used to clarify symptoms, functioning, and support needs in everyday settings. These evaluations help individuals, providers, employers, schools, and agencies understand how mental-health concerns affect daily life, work, relationships, and wellbeing. They include clinical interviews, history gathering, and functional assessment to provide clear documentation and recommendations for treatment, accommodations, or access to needed services.
